Swanage beach offers safe, clean bathing and dogs are not permitted from 30th April to 30th September.
However there are other beaches only a short drive away where dogs are allowed all the year round, including Shell Bay, Lulworth Cove and Kimmeridge Bay.

There is a wide range of places to eat within a few minutes' walk or a short drive, including pubs, cafes, fish and chips, Italian, Chinese, Indian and English restaurants.  A selection of menus is available at reception to help you plan your evening's fare.
